She works as Educational Psychologist, Family Counselor and specialist in forensic psycho-diagnosis. She has obtained two university titles, one in Argentina and the other in Spain. María Cristina is a bilingual poet, writer and editor with six published books: four in Argentina and two in India, in English and Spanish. She has authored a thousand critical articles and poems, published worldwide in newspapers, anthologies, magazines, e-zines and poetry books. Poetry news, Latino Today journal, Spirit, magazine, Chicago, Alrai newspaper sited in Jordan, Metverse Muse magazine ,India, the bulletin of Psychology of the government of the city of Milwaukee, Universal Alliance of UK, etc.
She has coauthored “Peace, Literature and Art”, for an e-book edited by UNESCO. And for the Unesco EOLSS Enciclopedia. She has obtained publication of her poetry reviews at books, magazines and anthologies published by universities like Saint Petersburg in Russia, University of El Salvador in Buenos Aires.
Also she has written many forewords and bilingual sections into poetry books by authors from Canada, USA, Nepal, Phillipines, Israel, Japan, Norway and India.
She is honorary member of numerous international literary associations.

Recent Distinctions:
- In 2004 is nominated Director in Argentina for IFLAC-International Forum for a Literature and a Culture of Peace-
- In 2007 was awarded merit Prize as the best director for this NGO and “the Golden Apple” from the Cultural press net, Argentina
- In 2008 was “Special Guest” for the Du store verden literary festival , Oslo, Norway and First prize in Poetry Azacra International, India. Also she was nominated Symbol of Peace prize granted by the “Cycle Poets and Narrators of Rosary” and in that year is chosen Universal Ambassador of Peace by the Circle of Geneva, Switzerland.
- In 2009, the Dove of peace IFLAC for her contribution to peace literature and consequently designated Director in IFLAC South America
