Léo m'avait adressé votre recueil poétique et je l'en ai remercié.
Vous êtes psychothérapeute et votre connaissance des êtres humains
et des souffrances donne à votre poésie ce surcroît de sens qu va
aux tréfonds de nos existences par la profondeur des mots qui
révèlent un vécu d'engagement.
Vous êtes "femme" et parce qu'elles donnent ou peuvent donner la
vie, les femmes qui s'engagent par les mots,l'action et l'art
poétique, ont cette dimension de restituer ce qu'il y a de plus beau
et de plus noble en l'humain.
Vous révélez comme l'indique René CHAR, cette production active du
réel dans ces contradictions et par vous,vos propos, vous symbolisez
ce qui a été déclamé par notre poète national Louis ARAGON et notre
chanteur Jean FERRAT :la femme est le futur de l'homme.... et pour
elle être homme est un défi et un effort sans fin.
Votre poésie est vive, vraie, saisissante de beauté et de vérité par
l'énergie et l'amour de l'humanité qui y gisent.
Vous faites honneur à notre pays, à l'écriture et plus largement à
l'humanisme contemporain.

Dear Maria,
Léo had addressed your poetic collection to me and I thanked it. You
are a psychotherapist and your knowledge of the human beings and the
sufferings gives to your poetry this addition of direction qu goes
to the subsoils of our existences by the depth of the words which
reveal one lived of engagement.
You are "woman" and because they give or can give the life, the
women which begin by the words, the action and poetic art, have this
dimension to restore what there is moreover in vain and of nobler in
the human one.
You reveal as indicates it Rene CHAR, this production active of
reality in these contradictions and by you, your remarks, you
symbolize what was declamed by our national poet Louis ARAGON and our
singer Jean FERRAT: the woman is the future of the man…. and it to
be man is a challenge and an effort without end.
Your poetry is sharp, true, seizing beauty and of truth by the
energy and the love of the humanity which lie there.
You make honor with our country, the writing and more largely with
contemporary humanism.

Leo me había enviado su colección poética WINDOW TO HEAVEN y lo agradecí.
María Cristina Azcona es psicoterapeuta y su conocimiento de los seres humanos y sufrimientos
da a su poesía esta adición de sentido que va a los subsuelos de nuestra existencia por la profundidad de las palabras que revelan un vivido de compromiso.
Es mujer y porque dan o pueden dar la vida, las mujeres que se comprometen con la palabra, la acción y el arte poético, tienen esta dimensión de devolver lo que hay de más bonito y de más noble en el ser humano.
Revela como lo indica René CHAR, esta producción activa del real en estas contradicciones y por ustedes, su observaciones, simboliza lo que declamara nuestro poeta nacional Luis ARAGON y nuestro cantante Jean FERRAT: la mujer es el futuro del hombre…. y para ella ser hombre es un reto y un esfuerzo sin final.

Maria, I have received a copy of Window to Heaven. I find here a happy marriage between your lyrics and printing. The cover, design and presentation are delightful to the eyes. You are at your best as usual in Window to Heaven. These are meaningful poems, particularly at this time when peace is being shredded into pieces. This is an impressive collection.
Your biography and prologue are equally impressive. I agree with you when you say that "The education of love must include the concept of love to humanity, as a way to teach solidarity, cooperative spirit, and respect to humanity." You are on the right path as an activist when you attack ignorance as the root of the evil and this root can be rooted out through education. I am pleased to read that Pope John Paul 11 is your inspirer. Pope John Paul was a compass that guided humanity for moral strength and also how to live and die. The magnetic needle of this compass always pointed out to the culture of peace and love that was watched closely by a sea of eager eyes everywhere. Maria Azcona, you are on the right track. You are doing a service to humanity by using your talent for peace.

En el libro de Maria Cristina Azcona, WINDOW TO HEAVEN encuentro un feliz matrimonio entre la lírica y la presentación impresa. La tapa, el diseño editorial y la impresión son sumamente agradables a la vista. Maria Cristina Azcona ha dado lo mejor en WINDOW TO HEAVEN como es su costumbre. Estos son poemas pletóricos de sentido, particularmente en estas épocas en las que la Paz se ve destrozada y minusvalorada . Es un libro realmente impresionante.
La biografía y el prólogo son a su vez impactantes. Estoy de acuerdo con la autora cuando expresa que " La educación del amor debe incluir el concepto de amor a la humanidad en su conjunto como modo de enseñar la solidaridad, espíritu cooperativo y respeto universal."
La autora se ve en el camino correcto como pacifista activa cuando ataca la ignorancia como la raíz del mal y explica que la educación es la única que puede arrancar esta raíz..
Me agradó leer que fue el Papa Juan Pablo II quien inspirara la escritura de este libro ya que fue un compás que guió a la humanidad con su fuerza moral y fue ejemplo para vivir y morir
La aguja magnética de este compás siempre indicó hacia la cultura de la paz y del amor, y fue siempre observado con gran interés e incluso amado mundialmente.
Maria Azcona, usted se encuentra en el camino indicado. Está haciendo un servicio a la humanidad usando su talento para el alcance de la PAZ MUNDIAL.

RENATO CORSETTI´s review to WINDOW TO HEAVEN
These poems belong to a category that we could call “poems to improve ourselves and the external world”. The poems of Maria Cristina Azcona in this book are such from forward edge to the last ones. The first poem speaks of a “Fashionable World” and his first verses are:
Today the world is fashionable.
A fashionable world.
(The modern hell).
They give us the impression that this poetess, ,with few words, knows how to express the drama of this generation lost in the ocean of the commercial communication, the propaganda and the fashion.
The last verses of the book say “ You need to help me in this endeavor/giving your hand to whom is at your side/Discovering Peace around your heart/to enlighten the darkness of this decadent life” and it talks about the contribution of the individual to find the own peace and the improvement for a better world.
Truly Maria Cristina Azcona must be considered part of the still small army conformed by people of good will, who work hardly to change the world.
In this sense she can be considered part of the Movement for the International Understanding, in whose vanguard we include all persons who favor the use and diffusion of the international language neutral Esperanto.

Ĉi tiuj poemoj apartenas al tiuj, kiujn oni povus nomi “poemoj por plibonigi sin mem kaj la mondon”.
La poemoj de Maria Cristina Azcona en ĉi tiu libro estas tiaj de la komencaj linioj ĝis la lastaj. La unua poemo parolas pri “Fashionable World” kaj la unuaj versoj estas: “Today the world is fashionable./A fashionable world./(The modern hell).” Ili sufiĉas por doni al ni la impreson ke la poem-verkistino per malmultaj vortoj kaptas la dramon de ĉi tiu generacio perdita en la oceano de la komerca komunikado, de la reklamado, de la modo.
La lastaj versoj de la libro estas: “ You need to help me in this endeavor/giving your hand to whom is at your side/Discovering Peace around your heart/to enlighten the darkness of this decadent life.” Temas ankoraŭ pri la kontribuo de la individuo trovi la propran pacon kaj la plibonigon de la mondo.
Entute Maria Cristina Azcona devas esti konsiderata parto de la ankoraŭ malgranda armeo de tiuj personoj de bona volo, kiu agas por ŝanĝi la mondon. En tiu senco ŝi povas esti konsiderata parto de la movado por internacia interkompreniĝo, kies avangardo certe estas la favorantoj de la internacia, neŭtrala lingvo Esperanto.

Estos poemas pertenecen a una categoría que podriamos llamar “poemas para mejorarnos a nosotros mismos y al mundo”.
Los poemas de Maria Cristina Azcona en este libro son tales desde las primeras líneas hasta las últimas. El primer poema habla de un “Fashionable World” y sus primeros versos son: “Today the world is fashionable./A fashionable world./(The modern hell).”
Bastan para darnos la impresion de que la poetisa, con pocas palabras sabe expresar el drama de esta generación perdida en el océano de la comunicación comercial, la propaganda y la moda.
Los últimos versos del libro dicen “ You need to help me in this endeavor/giving your hand to whom is at your side/Discovering Peace around your heart/to enlighten the darkness of this decadent life”
Y se refiere a la contribucion del individuo para encontrar la propia paz y el mejoramiento del mundo.
Verdaderamente Maria Cristina Azcona debe ser considerada parte del todavia pequeño ejército de estas personas de buena voluntad, que trabajan por cambiar el mundo. En este sentido ella puede ser considerada parte del Movimiento por la comprension internacional, en cuya vanguardia incluimos a los que favorecen el uso y difusión de la lengua internacional neutral Esperanto.-

COMENTARIO POR MARITA RAGOZZA
La misión del escritor – entre otras – es recuperar la palabra secuestrada y regresarla a su dinámica restauradora.
En este libro, MARÍA CRISTINA AZCONA, es demiurgo que nos comunica poéticamente su mirada lúcida y ¿ por qué no? profética acerca de las características y concepciones del mundo actual.
MARÍA CRISTINA AZCONA es estrictamente poeta.
Pero en esta obra – más que en ninguna de las anteriores – se manifiesta como una Poeta Social. Las familias, las ciudades, las naciones, el mundo, la humanidad son su inspiración para articular su lenguaje poético.
Pero mantiene su auto-exigencia, porque nunca deja de lado la belleza. Aún cuando se refiere a las paradojas de nuestro tiempo, y utiliza la agudeza o la ironía sutil, siempre lo hace con un alto grado de lirismo.
A veces retrata una situación desde la veracidad de una descripción, propia de quien también se expresa a través del dibujo y la pintura, como lo hizo Silvina Ocampo y otros escritores.
Aún en poemas en los que refleja la crueldad del mundo voraz exterior, siempre tiende un manto de comprensión ante los desamparados de las voces de la justicia y de los sueños, y hace un llamado urgente a nuestra interioridad.
